Did some internet sleuthing and it’s a real ‘29 Murphy bodied Duesenberg, owned by John Schibles, a local car collector who has claimed many a trophy at Pebble Beach and other concours shows with his collection. It’s nice to see that he actually drives his cars, instead of stuffing them in storage and forgetting about them until it’s time to trailer them from show to show. (I’ve also spotted him in his V16 Cadillac)
